RFP Analyst

Our client a top asset management firm is looking for a new finance grad to join their teams as an RFP Analyst on a 12-month contract basis.

Using discretion and judgment, incumbent responds to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs). Duties include assessing new requests, creating RFP responses (including original writing), completing consultant requests and updates, responding to ad hoc requests, and participating in the maintenance of RFP information and resources.

Responsibilities :

  • Respond to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) from prospective and current clients across Global Distribution. Compile detailed descriptions of the products and strategies from existing content sources.
  • Complete Due Diligence requests from existing clients and update consultant databases.
  • Respond to ad hoc, non-RFP requests for written information.
  • Acquire broad understanding of the products and all applicable content and data resources.
  • Develop increasingly specialized knowledge of products and understanding of performance.
  • Under direction of Supervisor or Manager, interact with subject matter experts to obtain specialized data or content.
  • Develop management relationship skills via increasingly independent interaction with subject matter experts.
  • Conduct peer reviews in accordance with the guidelines to ensure a high level of quality and accurate responses within RFPs, RFIs, DDQs. Support the company goal of minimizing risk.
  • Assume other responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years financial services experience and high aptitude to acquire in-depth understanding of the products and services, preferred.
  • Excellent writing, editorial, analytical, research and organizational skills required. Ability to work under pressure and manage several deadline-oriented projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and with other professionals at various organizational levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, particularly Word and Excel.
