Technology Specialist

Our client within wealth management is seeking a Technology Specialist to join their team. This highly collaborative role will be part of the Technology Services team that delivers exceptional technology support to the entire company.

Responsibilities :

  • Support day to day office needs aligned with white glove service
  • Be in-office 2-3 days/week (covering both offices in Toronto & Oakville)
  • Provide onsite support to address needs, including assisting staff and MSP (i.e. workstations, printers, network/wi-fi, software applications, conferencing equipment)
  • Provide onboarding/training for new/existing staff on IT processes & best practices
  • Assist with Salesforce/Sharepoint/Purview/Copilot setup, administration, and integration
  • Ensure IT inventory management is maintained
  • Manage cell plans/procurement
  • Track and optimize software licensing (e.g Adobe, MS License, Salesforce License, etc.)
  • Responsible for procurement management/interacting with MSP (i.e. phones, laptops, workstations)
  • Point of contact with vendors as required (i.e. Apple, Zoom)
  • Provide backup to other IT staff (i.e. vacations, capacity)
  • Support project work as required (i.e. digital transformation)
  • Promote and drive adoption of IT best practices, in the IT team and COMPANY-wide.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working in a similar role
  • Relevant technical certifications and experience (i.e. PMP, ITIL, COBIT, Salesforce, Sharepoint, Purview, Outlook, Teams, Zoom, EntraID/InTune Mac, iPhone)
  • Degree in Business or Technology an asset with relevant hands-on experience
  • Demonstrable ability to drive multiple tasks and projects to timely completion in a dynamic team environment, working with and through specialists. Strong abilities around project management, root cause analysis, coordination and organizing.
  • Demonstrated expert-level communications skills, both written and verbal, ability to capture and present information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to quickly learn, adapt, and bring into practice new knowledge and skills. Demonstrated problem-solving skills, and basic project management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted professional relationships and coordinate across a team
