Associate, Wealth Management

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Associate to support in the preparation and delivery of wealth management and financial planning services to high-net-worth clients. This role is execution-oriented and detail-driven, with responsibility for client meeting preparation, analysis, coordination, and follow-through.

The Associate plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and consistency across client interactions, allowing the Portfolio Manager to remain focused on relationship leadership, investment oversight, and strategic advisory work.

Responsibilities :

  • Support the Portfolio Manager in preparing financial planning and wealth management materials for client meetings.
  • Prepare portfolio review packages, planning summaries, and presentation materials.
  • Coordinate client review meetings, including scheduling, preparation, documentation, and post-meeting follow-up.
  • Assist with investment portfolio reviews, including portfolio attribution, performance analysis, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Manage day-to-day client requests and inquiries with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely execution of client-related deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documentation, and workflows in the firm’s CRM and systems.
  • Support ongoing process improvements and contribute to a high standard of client service.
  • Engage in ongoing learning and professional development to build technical and advisory skills.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as required to support the Portfolio Manager and evolving team needs.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in a client-facing or support role within a wealth management or financial services firm.
  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in personal finance preferred
  • Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint and Excel (formulas, graphs, pivot tables)
  • Exposure to investment management, financial planning, and tax planning.
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong comfort working with numbers and financial data, supported by an analytical mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented approach to client interactions.
  • Resourceful self-starter who takes accountability for work and outcomes.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining focus on detailed, complex tasks.
  • Professionalism, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively under pressure.
