Social Media Coordinator/Administrator

Our client within property management requires a Social Media Coordinator/Administrative Assistant to join their team. This newly created dual-role position is responsible for promoting vacant property units through various social media platforms, creating an online company presence, and maintaining the company website, while also providing day-to-day administrative support in the office. The ideal candidate is both tech-savvy and highly organized, with strong communication skills and the ability to represent the company professionally both online and in person.

Responsibilities :

Social Media & Marketing Duties

  • Create, post, and manage property social communities on multiple social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Regularly update the company website with new property listings, photos, and marketing content.
  • Develop and post engaging social media content highlighting capital improvements, property upgrades, and building beautification projects. Regularly update platforms to showcase the quality, care, and pride we take in maintaining well-run buildings.
  • Use social media analytics tools to track and evaluate platform performance, providing insights to improve engagement and reach.
  • Monitor and respond promptly and professionally to tenant reviews on Google and other social media platforms, helping to create and maintain a positive online reputation and strengthen tenant relationships.
  • Visit property sites to take quality photos and videos for marketing purposes.
  • Monitor online inquiries and forward leads to the property management team/superintendents.
  • Collaborate with management to develop creative content ideas and marketing campaigns to increase visibility of available properties.
  • Track engagement metrics and provide feedback on campaign performance.
  • Market research and surveys.

Administrative Support Duties

  • Provide administrative assistance to the senior management team, including preparing correspondence, maintaining records, and organizing files.
  • Assist with scheduling, data entry, and other administrative projects as assigned.
  • Assist with social event coordination.
  • Support day-to-day office operations, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist in answering incoming phone calls and emails, providing excellent customer service to tenants, clients, and vendors.
  • Provide additional administrative support to the front office, such as mail distribution/couriers, preparing tenant welcome gifts, and covering reception during absences, breaks, or vacations.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in social media management, marketing, or administration preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing trends.
  • Basic website editing and updating skills (WordPress or similar CMS experience an asset).
  • Basic photo/video editing skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional, friendly, and customer-service oriented.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle to travel to properties.
