Digital Marketing Manager

Seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join their team, our client is a publicly traded specialty pharmaceutical company with a robust portfolio of commercial and early to late-stage products.

The Digital Marketing Manager plays a key role in driving our growth by developing, executing, and optimizing digital marketing strategies that support the expanding portfolio
of pharmaceutical products. This position is responsible for increasing brand and product awareness, generating qualified leads, and engaging both healthcare professionals and consumers through compliant, effective digital channels.

The Digital Marketing Manager will lead all aspects of the company’s digital presence, including online advertising, social media, website management, search engine marketing, email marketing, and digital content creation. This role works cross-functionally with product management, sales, regulatory affairs, and external partners to ensure that all digital initiatives align with brand standards, regulatory requirements, and overall business goals.

Responsibilities :

  • Build and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to support the growing pharmaceutical product portfolio and overall business goals.
  • Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns across channels including Google Ads, paid search, display advertising, social media, and programmatic advertising.
  • Develop and manage digital campaigns targeting healthcare professionals through specialized HCP platforms such as InStep, UpToDate, and similar resources to drive awareness and product education.
  • Maintain websites and ensure all digital content is accurate, engaging, on-brand, and compliant with FDA regulations.
  • Monitor and manage the flow of orders generated through digital channels, ensuring timely tracking and alignment with sales operations.
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign metrics and digital performance data to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee search engine optimization and marketing strategies to increase organic and paid traffic and improve online visibility.
  • Develop, allocate, and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring funds are invested wisely to achieve maximum ROI.
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to ensure all digital content, ads, and campaigns meet industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Partner with product management, sales, regulatory, and external vendors; supervise and mentor digital team members or contractors as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree is an asset.
  • 5–10 years of experience in Product Marketing, Brand Manager, or similar marketing role with a strong emphasis on digital marketing strategy and execution.
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated healthcare field strongly preferred.
  • Proven success developing and executing Google Ads campaigns and other paid digital advertising.
  • Experience managing digital campaigns targeting healthcare professionals through HCP-specific platforms such as InStep, UpToDate, or similar.
  • Strong background in order intake tracking and working closely with sales operations to measure digital impact on conversions.
  • Advanced skills in using digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM platforms, marketing automation) to measure performance and ROI.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and managing digital marketing budgets to maximize impact and efficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex product information into clear, engaging digital content.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
