Job Description:
Our client within private wealth requires a Marketing Coordinator to join their team. Reporting to the Director, Brand & Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring marketing activities are completed efficiently, coordinated across the enterprise and with external parties, and to the extraordinary level of precision and excellence consistent with the brand. All with the intention to create and keep customers. All marketing activities fall within the scope of this role; website updates, content distribution, coordination of events, maintenance of the in-house library, progress reporting, etc.
This role is expected to coordinate with the internal team, external consultants, design shops, event planners, printing shops and others as needed. Improvements that enhance and elevate our brand, reach,and performanc eare also expected. This role will also carry out other analytical and administrative tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Working directly with the Director, Brand & Marketing to track, and report all marketing activities.
- Perform follow-up as needed to ensure all activities are completed to schedule and budget. Create and distribute status reporting and coordinate edits and feed back on materials from all stakeholders.
- Provide input into the planning and delivery process using analytics and other sources of feedback to find ways to improve the performance of our marketing efforts.
- Act as the central hub for the planning and flawless execution of events such as dinners. Work directly with event planners, venues, and hosts. Manage the invitation process. Provide input to planning to help select guests and speakers. If required, attend the event, supervise, and carryout any task needed to make the event a success.
- Work with the Specialist, Marketing & Communications to track all ideas and concepts for content; source and research new content opportunities; manage production flow of materials through edits, approvals, and distribution.
- Assist in managing the website, post content, manage web supplier relationships.
- Assist in managing all social media including posting of content. Evaluate the performance of the program using analytics and find improvements.
- Assist with internal events, learning programs, and other related tasks and administrative functions.
- Act as the custodian of the brand identity, look & feel, ensuring standards are respected at all times.
- Own and deliver certain marketing projects as assigned by the Director, Brand & Marketing.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in business administration, event management, or marketing & advertising.
- Excellent coordination, project management, leadership, and organizing abilities with strong attention to follow-up and completion.
- Strong sensibility for ‘thinking like the customer’ and helping to deliver a pleasant, elegant ‘experience’ to clients, prospects and advisors such that they ultimately advocate for the brand.
- Excellent communications skills, including a decent ability to write and proofread marketing copy.
- Excellent listening skills and ability to transform ideas into actionable tasks and work as part of a dynamic fast paced team; must be able to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong technical skills with MS Office products, working knowledge of tools such as Squarespace, Salesforce (including Pardot), Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Strong working knowledge of marketing analytical methods, web analytics.

- Critical thinker – undertake challenges from analytical and collaborative approaches to arrive at innovative solutions.
- Highly adaptive to change, balancing the discipline to stay on plan and execute with the entrepreneurial reality of responding to new opportunities and priorities at any time.
