Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking an HR Specialist to join their People & Culture team. Reporting directly to the VP of People & Culture, this position will entail overseeing HR operations and providing support for key strategic initiatives. Additionally, the incumbent will serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries and issues regarding company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate should possess 2-4 years of progressive HR experience in a hands-on environment adhering to best practices. Prior experience in professional or financial services firms is advantageous.

  • Oversee HR reporting and contribute to the development of innovative reporting and tracking methods through the implementation of an HRIS.
  • Manage all aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding processes, serving as the HR liaison for new hires and managers.
  • Handle inquiries received through the HR mailbox, providing timely responses to general questions.
  • Support various HR administrative processes including benefits administration, onboarding, offboarding, and leave/vacation management.
  • Assist in recruitment activities as needed, including crafting offer letters and managing internal postings.
  • Supervise the Intern program.
  • Collaborate with the VP to facilitate: Learning and development initiatives.
  • Performance management programs.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) strategies.
  • Compensation programs.
  • Analyze results from People Surveys, aid in reporting and communication of findings, and offer guidance on addressing areas for improvement.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in human resources.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Strong team player with self-motivation to achieve results within specified deadlines.
  • Adaptability and capacity to manage competing priorities with precision and attention to detail.
  • Self-driven with a robust work ethic.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
