Job Description:

Our client, a financial services firm downtown is currently seeking an ambitious, self-starter who is detail and results oriented, to add to their Client Operations team. The position’s primary focus will be to onboard and administratively support our growing roster of law firm and expert partner clients, while working closely with the  Sales team to facilitate business development objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage an existing and new portfolio of client relationships, which includes the onboarding of the Portal for all products and services.
  • Present and discuss the company’s Expert Access and File Funder services to new law firm and expert clients with view to building ongoing service support relationships with their legal and/or admin teams.
  • Conduct presentations to educate, support and identify opportunities with law firm clients.
  • Perform client operations which include, but not limited to, account setup, credential issuance, transaction review and management, Portal management and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Monitor and proactively identify business development opportunities with existing clients and follow up as required with law firm clients who are not utilizing company’s services to their potential (working in concert with Sales team in this regard).

 

Sales Discipline:

  • Sales Tools: responsible for utilizing Salesforce.com to manage sales initiatives and duties; key data is to be both accurate and complete.
  • Sales Process: prepare account plans and prioritize efforts for new and existing accounts.
  • Complex B2B and B2B2C Sales: interact, collaborate, and strategize with all other members of the X business development and client operations team (the “Sales team”) and other departments including Credit, Assessment Officers, and Loan Operations to achieve the loan originations targ
  • Achieve individual growth targets in support of the growth targets established for the Sales team. A key metric is loan originations which requires both credit approval and underwriting as well as funding the loan. Client operations managers are typically the lead contact for all law clerks/assistants and some lawyers (coordinated with Business Development).
  • Identify opportunities and work with the business development team to offer lawyer/law firm targeted

Company products (Expert Access, File Funder, Settlement Loans including Treatment Financing).

  • Develop and execute a plan of strategies to be used in the growth of existing clients which focus on credit utilization.
  • Monitor key reporting to identify opportunities to increase credit utilization, identify firms reaching their credit limit and opportunities to cross sell additional products and services.
  • Where applicable, liaise with business development managers and strategize on offering these services.
  • Act as point of contact to both law firms and expert partners, while providing ongoing support to the Sales team.
  • Support expert engagement by answering emails in preparation for first estimate/invoice submissions and following up on outstanding requests.
  • Be a subject matter expert with respect to all day-to-day Portal administration to manage customer concerns, issues, or questions as they arise.
  • Resolve issues concerning experts and law firms.
  • Assist with the identification of marketing opportunities and requirements both regionally and as required by the Sales team.
  • Travel, conferences, and attending client/networking events on evening and weekends as required.

 

Qualifications:

Education

  • University/College degree in Business or Legal field preferred.

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of customer service/clerking/assisting experience working in the legal field and/or relationship manager role.
  • Possess Knowledge of working with standard operational process
  • Be able to work well under pressure, efficiently handling multiple tasks and a strong ability to prioritize.
  • Possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills to maintain client relationship
  • Possess advanced computer application skills, specifically in Salesforce, MS Office Suites.
  • Possess advanced written and verbal communication skills with a strict attention to d
  • Possess exceptional organizational and time management skills, works independently, takes initiative and has a strong work eth
  • Ability to learn new processes and tools quickly is essential.
  • Team player – ability to work with people from multiple teams.
