Investment management company downtown requires a Order/Data Entry Processor to join their team. The offices will be moving from downtown Toronto to Mississauga (close to the airport). The Order/Data Entry Processor position is responsible for processing proper documentation and entering trade orders, clients, plans into one or more productions systems, and for meeting individual productivity and quality targets. In this position one would be working closely with the Compliance and Operations team.

Duties and responsibilities:
• Prepare orders for entry into one or more production systems
• Enter trade orders into one or more production systems
• Resolve problems and find solutions to any issues regarding trade errors
• Setting up clients and plans on the system
• Initiating, preparing documentation for, and following up on client account transfers with other institutions
• Corresponding with advisors and assistants regarding client documentation, requests and follow ups in coordination with the Compliance Officer/Branch Manager
• Keeping track of document flow between systems and hard copies as needed or requested
• Managing storage of documents, including scanning and filing
• Other duties as assigned

• Two to five years industry-related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• University degree is a plus
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience with FundSERV, Winfund, and trade processing is a plus
• Attention to details
• Organization and time management skills
• Effectively follow policies and procedures
• Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions
• Ability to compose concise, grammatically correct emails
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to compliance, advisors, and other team members of the organization 
• Practical problem solving skills
• Ability to stay productive under pressure in a fast paced environment
