East York development company requires a Receptionist/Jr. Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, creative office environment. The successful candidate will bring a positive and energetic customer service focus to the role and will be accountable for managing all reception and general office administrative duties including assisting with office services duties. Reporting to the Office Manager, the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant will be primarily responsible for:

RECEPTION
• Politely greeting all incoming guests and manage visitor flow through reception area
• Manage and direct incoming calls
• Organize mail and courier delivery services
• Ensure the reception area, kitchens and meeting rooms are always clean and tidy
• Perform regular inventory of supplies
• Arrange catering orders, set up and clean up for business and internal meetings

ADMINISTRATIVE 
• Maintain accurate corporate excel spreadsheets
• Assist with calendar bookings/changes for all meeting rooms
• Provide support to Office Manager and Facilities Coordinator when required
• Assist all departments that require help with administrative tasks as required
• Perform Visa reconciliations
• • Other responsibilities as required

Qualifications
• Strong client service focus, dealing with both external and internal clients
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and advanced Excel skills required
• Self-starter and ability to work independently as well as in a fast paced team environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with the team, other staff and clients
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (including strong spelling, punctuation and grammar)
• Excellent judgment and problem solving skills, including a proactive approach to working with partners and clients
