Our client, a media company is currently seeking a Receptionist to join their team.  A proactive professional with a keen eye for detail and the ability to consistently produce high quality work will be an excellent fit for this role.    


  • Receive and redirect incoming calls and emails effectively in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Manage bookings for meeting spaces.
  • Effectively prepare, organize and distribute mail as it is received and manage outgoing mail processes from preparation to delivery.
  • Liaise with Administrative Assistants regarding appointments, meetings and external visitors, being cognizant of Executive schedules.
  • Administrative duties including filing, copying and faxing.
  • Ensure front office is kept in proper order and presentable for clients and guests.
  • Ensure general office supplies are maintained and ordered as per demand keeping track of inventory.
  • Ensure general office equipment including the photocopier and printer are maintained and operational at all times.
  • Maintain validity of administrative policies and procedures including Company Directory and telephone extension lists.
  • Any other administrative duties as required.


  • Strong client service skills and prior work experience in an office environment, preferably within professional services or finance
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office, scheduling and e-mail.
  • Superior oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work independently with demonstrated initiative and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure, while managing multiple/shifting priorities.
  • Demonstrated judgment, tact, discretion and ability to handle complex matters of a sensitive and confidential nature.
  • Professional appearance and personable demeanor, with a keen customer service-orientation and the drive to go above and beyond for clients and co-workers
